Very rustic Italian restaurant. Seated promptly (we were smart enough to get in at about 5pm, by 6:30 it was a mad house!) Service was fantastic. Had the Burrata antipasto, mussels, a pepperoni pizza, and the kids shared a rigatoni alla bolognese. Everything was phenomenal. I would come back just for the pizza which was totally my style. “ Michelle and Julian took care of my parents and me tonight. We were all deeply appreciative of their kind hospitality, informative suggestions, and professional warmth. Absolutely "the" bar for what service should be . Tonight was my first time here (Tuesday night), and it was a last-minute pick from my parents. We arrived casually and every table was sat; we soon realized why for a mid-week evening. Foreshadow: it was a lovely experience and we can't wait to come back! I pay attention to everything within my frame, and from the urgency/friendliness of the front desk to the distance between tables and menu options/cleanliness, Nonno's truly pays attention and delivers on all fronts. My parents and I shared the artichoke appetizer "Carciofini Croccanti" that Michelle suggested. We couldn't get enough! She was right, it's like nothing we've ever had before! You NEED to get this! My parents and I all tried each other's entrees. I had the "Ravioli di Aragosta con Scampi" (lobster raviolli), my mom had "Lasagna", and my dad had "Cioppino". We are all very opinionated and could NOT pick one we liked more than the other! They were all impeccable. The ingredients, balance of heat, texture, creaminess and seasoning was exceptional for all. I would order any of those three entrees again and feel like I ate the best one. We each shared and ordered a different dessert - which was a bit different of a census compared to our meal. From best to least favorite, all of us agreed to the same rating: 1. Creme brulee 2. Tiramisu 3. Cheesecake. I'll start with our least favorite. The cheesecake needed more almond extract and fluff. It didn't offer much outside of the roasted sugar glaze on the top. Then, the tiramisu! It was a great size, fluffy, balanced wonderfully with coffee notes that didn't overwhelm it. I would order this with a coffee (or Irish coffee) and share with my plus 1 for next time! And lastly, our top pick was the creme brulee. She may have been the least attractive looker, but we all couldn't get enough! Perfect perfect perfect! On a personal Note, I would love a little more slices of strawberries on the side. Julian, thank you for sharing your story. You and Michelle made us feel at home. We all felt the love that the chef and the team puts in to each aspect of our experience. What we loved: - great customer service: from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess and immediately seated. Our server was professional, attentive, and never let our water or drinks run empty. Everyone was friendly and made you feel like family. - the food was fantastic: everything we ordered was cooked to perfection, tasty, fresh, and filling from the complimentary bread, Caesar salad, pasta dishes, and tiramisu cake. We left full and satisfied. Not one complaint or issue with the food! - the ambiance is casual and family friendly. - there is a large parking lot shared by various businesses.
